Start Mobile was founded in 2005 with the intention to bring new art to the nascent mobile medium. With the belief that art should be for everyone Start Mobile has created a unprecedented global distribution network for mobile art. As of September 2008 Start Mobile art is available in hundreds of territories worldwide, including e.g. India, China, Russia and Eastern Europe.
Edvard Scott designed ten resolution and platform independent illustrations for Start Mobile. Commissioned by John Doffing, founder of Start Mobile.
